All Monster Types in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
There are a total of four different monster types in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. They fall into the categories of Normal, Elite, Unique, and Lucky.
Identifying Monster Types in Xenoblade Chronicles 3
Normal
Normal monsters are most of the beasts that players will find throughout the game. They possess no special markings or enhanced strength, and can usually be easily dispatched by a balanced party.
Elite
Elite monsters are obviously stronger than the normal variant and can be identified by the additional blue markings on either side of the displayed level along with their remaining health. Take extra precautions when facing these foes.
Unique
Unique monsters have orange markings on either side of their level and are the most challenging type of enemy just below bosses. Being at the same level as them doesn’t mean much, so make sure you have the best setup when facing them, or come back after you have gotten stronger.
Lucky
Lucky monsters have a sparkly effect around their level, but they’re not more powerful than normal monsters. Instead, they give you better drops when defeated. Armed with knowing all the monster types and how to identify them in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, go forth and save the world.
