Best Games Like Wordle
Here are some games that are very similar in style to Wordle where they have comparable mechanics but are more focused on a specific theme or subject. Dordle: Dordle is just like regular Wordle, but instead of solving one daily puzzle, you solve two of them at the same exact time. The twist is that you only get one guess at a time for both puzzles, and you only get seven guesses total to figure out both words. This is basically the hard version of Wordle. Quordle: Was Dordle to easy for you? If so, test your word skills with Quordle in which you solve four puzzles at the exact same time. You get eight guesses total to figure out four words. This is the super hard version of Wordle. Good luck. Lewdle: If regular Wordle seems to plain to you, consider trying Lewdle. Warning: it’s not for the innocent. Lewdle puzzles only contain words that are offensive, profane, or obscene. If you have a dirty or vulgar mind, this is the right game for you. Heardle: If you’re not a word whiz, but music is your thing instead, you have to check out Heardle. It’s Wordle but for music lovers. You start by listening to the intro of the song and then guessing the correct artist and title. The shorter amount of time you listen, the better your score. Worldle: Geography buffs will love this one. Each day you’re shown the outline of a country or territory somewhere in the world. You have six guesses to figure out what it is. As you guess, it will tell you how close or far away you are to the correct guess in distance (miles or kilometers), as well as the compass direction you should head towards for your next guess. Nerdle: This one is for all of the math nerds out there. In Nerdle, you have six tries to guess the equation using numbers and symbols. The equation must make sense and have a correct solution. Like Wordle, the tiles will let you know if you have a number in the correct place or if the answer contains that number in a different place. Primel: Primel is another math-related puzzle. This time, you have six tries to guess the daily prime number. It will let you know if you have a number in the correct place or if the answer contains that number in a different place. Squirdle: Pokemon fans will love playing Squirdle, which has you guessing the correct Pokemon out of the hundreds that exist. You have eight guesses, and each guess will let you know how close you are with the generation, typing, and size of the Pokemon, giving you clues as to which direction you should be heading towards for your next guess. Taylordle: This one is a personal favorite of mine. Taylordle features words that are related in some way to Taylor Swift. Anything related to Taylor Swift is fair game, such as parts of song titles (such as Shake or Cruel), names associated with her (such as Alwyn or Jonas), or just general words associated with her (such as Scarf or Piano). Lordle of the Rings: This one is for only the biggest Lord of the Rings fans. You have six tries to guess a five-letter word or name from the Lord of the Rings series. Guesses such as Bilbo, Frodo, Elves, and Shire are all fair game for this one. While there are many similar types of games out there, and more are being created all the time, we hope this list was helpful for you to find new daily games to play, as they are some of the best games like Wordle.
