Hence, the tech giant Google has also claimed that the “Android Skilling” program training will be available free of cost across universities in India.
Google Announces Free Android Skilling and Certification Program
As we all know that the tech giant Google has been doing a lot of hard work to make people aware about the Android app developments, computer science, and programming. Hence, the tech giant Google has launched a new “Android Skilling” program in the country India which actually aim to train two million Android developers and the ‘Android Skilling’ program training will be available free of cost across universities in India. Google announced what it calls “Android Skilling” program is expecting to teach and prepare the Indian developers on the fundamentals of developing applications for its own Android operating system. The “Android Skilling” program will be available in public as well as private universities and training institutes of the National Skill Development Corporation of India. The Vice President of the Products at Google, Caesar Sengupta said that “India is a country where there is a lot of momentum. By 2019 India will have 4.2 million developers, making it a country with the largest number of developers. But most of these developers still work to create desktop applications even when the users are on mobile platforms. Only 4 percent of apps out of 1000 top apps on Google Play store have been created by Indian developers. We want to change that with the Android Skilling Program”. Moreover, Google has also partnered with few well-renowned private training institutes such as Manipal Global, UpGrad, Simplilearn, Edureka, Udacity and Koenig which will work as the authorized Android Training Partners in India. Besides, all these things the Google has also declared its job-oriented Android Developer Certification program, as stated that it will be a performance-based exam or test that aims to promote successful developers to get entry level Android Development jobs in the industry.
