How to Use Crash Pads

Crash Pads come in sets of three and can be thrown to create a pad you can bounce on for height or to give yourself some extra travel distance. They can also be thrown from the air and provide protection from any fall damage. You simply have to hold the aim button and then press fire to throw them.

Bouncing on 3 Crash Pads Before Landing

The best way to complete this quest is to drop one Crash Pad, and then bounce on it, then throw the next Crash Pad where you are going to land. Repeat this once more, and the quest will be finished. It’s much harder to put down three Crash Pads and try to navigate between them as, depending on where your initial jump is, you might be flung much too far. There’s nothing worse than getting the two Crash Pad bounces and then getting shot completely over the third because of the awful in-air maneuverability. Seeing as Crash Pads will also break if you set a new one too close to the old one, this method requires too much extra work. This is everything you need to know about how to bounce on three separate crash pads without landing in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. While you’re working through the Week 9 quests, be sure to remember that No Sweat Summer and Rebuild the Block are still going on until next week, and those quests give great rewards.
