Changing Difficulty Settings in DioField Chronicle
At the start of the game, you’ll be prompted to select your desired difficulty setting. However, you can change it again even after you’ve started proper. To change the difficulty setting in DioField Chronicle, press X to bring up the menu, then select Settings. From here, select the difficulty options, and press left or right on the d-pad to cycle between the different settings. Once you’ve confirmed your selection, press A to confirm your changes, close the menu, and you’re all good to go. There are three difficulty settings to choose from: Casual, Normal, and Hard. While Normal should work just fine for most players, there are some levels in Diofield Chronicle where enemies can swarm you and cause a defeat if you don’t know what you’re doing. To make combat a bit more manageable, drop it down to Casual and you’ll sustain less damage, and deal increased damage to your foes in turn. And if you ever feel like the game is a bit too easy, you can bump it up to give yourself more of a challenge. That’s all you need to know about how to change the difficulty in DioField Chronicle.
